How paying works
Every endpoint speaks x402. An unpaid request gets HTTP 402 with a PAYMENT-REQUIRED header stating the exact USDC price, the networks accepted and the wallet to pay. Your agent signs a one-time USDC authorization and repeats the request. The Coinbase facilitator verifies it, the tool runs, and the payment settles in about a second. If the tool fails, the payment is cancelled and nothing is charged.
